The processing of personal data carried out within Williams & Koch Europe is subject to Belgian law. The Belgian authorities and courts are competent, to the exclusion of all others, to take cognizance of any disputes that could arise in relation to this website or its use or concerning the processing of personal data. The authority that oversees the processing of personal data is the 'Belgian Data Protection Authority' [GBA/APD].
Processing of personal data
Williams & Koch Europe collects, records and processes personal data from customers and users of our services that are provided, for example, via our franchisees. Data are communicated, for example, by individuals themselves when getting in touch, when purchasing a product or for the preparation of a project. This list is non-exhaustive.

The personal data will always be processed with due observance of the principles of the privacy legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data will be processed in a lawful, proper and transparent manner and for a defined and explicit purpose. The data processing is restricted to what is necessary and the retention period for the personal data is restricted to as long as necessary in relation to achieving the purposes of the processing. Appropriate security is applied to the personal data by means of appropriate technical and organisational measures. The purposes for which Williams & Koch Europe processes your personal data include the following:
- Sending out our newsletter;
- In order to contact you if this is necessary to perform our services;
- For the further performance of agreements;
- To inform you about changes to our services and products;
- To deliver our goods and services to you;
- For processing your payment;
- To comply with legal obligations;
- For the legitimate interest of the company when required – the action itself will make the purpose of the processing clear.
The data shared, explicitly or by automated means, will be recorded and processed in Williams & Koch Europe's database. Personal data will only be provided by Williams & Koch Europe to processors, public authorities or affiliated companies if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or in order to comply with a legal obligation, the public interest or when the company's legitimate interest requires this and it is compatible with the purpose of the processing and is done in a proportionate manner.
We conclude an agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data.
Rights of data subjects
If you wish to consult, change, transfer, restrict or delete your data, you can do this free of charge by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address olaf@bpaint.be, accompanied by a copy of your identity card as proof of identity. You can also use this same channel and follow the same procedure if you wish to object to the processing of personal data or wish to cease communication with us. The data will be amended or deleted in so far as this is possible and the technical possibilities allow for it. Your request will be processed as quickly as possible and within the prescribed time limits. We will comply with your request as far as possible, unless this proves impossible due to the company's interest or a legal obligation.
In the event of a data breach that threatens to infringe your rights and the protection of your personal data, and thus constitutes a high risk, the supervisory authority will be notified accordingly and you, the data subject, will be informed in accordance with the Regulation.
Williams & Koch Europe takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes. With regard to underage persons
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under the age of 16 years, unless they have the consent of their parents or guardian. However, we are unable to verify whether a website visitor is aged 16 years or over. We therefore advise parents to involve themselves in their children's online activities to prevent data on children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about an underage person without such consent, please contact us at olaf@bpaint.be and we will then delete this information.
Correctness of your data
You guarantee that the data you provide to us are correct and complete. Providing incorrect data or data that belong to third parties may result in the user being temporarily or permanently denied access, in whole or in part, to Williams & Koch Europe's products and services.
